Mike handles high profile and cutting-edge cases in the travel litigation field. He had recent success in running a ‘plain text’ interpretation argument for the recovery of damages, following psychological injuries sustained during an international flight.

This was, to our understanding, the first attempt to litigate this argument before the English Courts. Mike also uses his foreign law expertise to assist the families of homicide and manslaughter victims abroad, through his pro bono work with Victim Support. He is currently supporting the family of an English man murdered in Greece, and assisting the loved ones of another English citizen, murdered in Athens, to have his body repatriated to the UK for burial.
