Katie qualified as a solicitor in 2019, and has specialised in serious injury for the bulk of that time.
She supports clients who have been involved in various types of catastrophic accidents and helps them obtain the support and compensation they deserve.
Katie has particular interest and knowledge of chronic pain syndromes, such as fibromyalgia, CRPS and brain injury claims. She is particularly passionate about helping people who suffer with long-term chronic conditions, but who feel unsupported and unheard due to funding cuts in public areas.
Additionally, Katie believes in the importance of building relationships with her clients and enjoys simply just having a catch up and chat with them. Often, her clients go on to become more like friends. Building these relationships allows Katie to understand the complexities of her clients’ conditions, and exactly how they are affected day-to-day. She always strives to achieve the best possible for the people she represents. One of Katie’s proudest moments was during a Court Hearing against a public department. The Defendant had mistakenly underestimated her, and her team, for not instructing Counsel – not knowing that they had felt strongly enough to represent the client personally. She really enjoyed this small win.
