Notable settled cases

ANON

Our client suffered a spinal cord injury following a collision with a lorry (client was a cyclist). Taking a team approach to the case, we helped the client, and their family navigate the legal process. We secured over 1 million pounds to facilitate rehabilitation as part of the case.. Prior to settlement, we secured a large interim payment, this enabled the client to buy a suitable property. The case settled at a Joint Settlement Meeting for £8.23 million.

The claimant sustained injury to his right hand during his employment as a delivery driver. Unfortunately, a series of complications resulted in the need for the limb to be amputated. The claimant had sustained a previous injury to the hand some years before the accident. Throughout the case, the defendants disputed a link between the accident and subsequent amputation. Despite this, we were able to secure an interim payment to enable the claimant to secure a trial of advanced prosthetics. The trial was a resounding success. Court proceedings were commenced and the case settled at an advanced stage in the litigation process following a JSM. The settlement was agreed in the sum of £900,000.

Client Feedback

ANON

“When we met the team for the first time at the Spinal Unit, they were very professional, put our minds at ease and were very supportive and understood our fears. We just knew this was a Company we wanted on our side.

Without the team, rehabilitation team and learning how to rebuild our lives, we wouldn’t be where we are today, ready to take the next step with confidence.

We cannot thank the team enough for all the support through this traumatic time. They are an outstanding Company with the best calibre of people who go above and beyond.

Thank you”
