We are delighted to confirm that we have been re-awarded the prestigious Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation for 2022, in recognition of our excellent practice quality for client care, compliance and practice management.
The Lexcel accreditation assesses the business across seven different categories:
- client care;
- risk management;
- people management;
- structure and strategy;
- financial management;
- information management;
- file and case management.
The accreditation is awarded to only around 12% of legal practices in England and Wales, so we are extremely proud to have upheld this prestigious accreditation over the last fourteen years.
The Lexcel accreditation ensures that prospective clients can be assured that they will receive an excellent level of client care, alongside specialist legal representation from our qualified, experienced solicitors.
Some comments from the Lexcel assessor include:
It is clear from this assessment that Serious Injury Law Ltd continues to maintain an excellent Lexcel standard, and people feel well supported by their line managers and colleagues.
Learning and development remains a strength of the firm. People are developed to positions of greater responsibility in the firm, coaching and knowledge sharing is excellent, and achievement of relevant qualifications is encouraged and supported.
Compliance and risk management are strong. There is a sound risk management culture in the firm, and people feel supported by partners and colleagues in resolving any problems arising.
Standards of client care remain high, and the firm has exceptionally low levels of complaints.
The firm has a clear management structure, and people feel valued and appreciated and looked after by the firm.
Tim Walters, Managing Partner, commented: “As always, I am delighted to see our Lexcel accreditation renew. It confirms the excellence in all aspects of our firm, that we have strived for and maintain, year after year. Our success reflects the hard work and dedication of all our teams at Serious Law, of whom I am very proud.”
