Our Cerebral Palsy clients benefit from the experience we have in implementing assisted technology within their homes. This provides a route to allow communication, educational access and entertainment needs to be met.
The technologies are controlled via computer systems that are installed throughout our client’s homes. In the vast majority of cases, those affected by spinal injury are unable to use a standard keyboard. As a result we utilise a wide range of access devices, such as gaze direction tracking, bespoke control keys, customised joysticks, hand positioning sensors, touch-screens, speech recognition and command recognition software. Our initial assessment identifies the access device that best fits our client’s needs to ensure ease of operation.
