A £2,500 device to help patients with spinal injuries become more mobile has been donated to a Teesside hospital.
The Dynamic Parapodium is an adjustable standing frame with braces to support the knees and back allowing patients to rock from side to side and take steps.
The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough has taken delivery of the equipment thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Mobility Aids Centre.
Every year between 30 and 50 people in the region suffer a spinal injury.
