A toddler with a bone condition that has caused spinal injury loves the bedroom constructed for her in light of her illness.
The parents of three-year-old Jasmine Sanderson told the Hartlepool Mail that the toddler has had a nightmare trying to get up the stairs in their family home since the joints in her back and neck locked into place.
Jasmine's mother Kelly explained her daughter's satisfaction with her new ground floor bedroom.
She said: "She has lots of space to play and she loves it.
"If she fell down the stairs, if it did not kill her it could cause major flare-ups all over her body."
Jessica suffers from a condition known as fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, which causes bone to form in muscles, tendons and other connective tissue.
According to the International Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva Association, the condition is capable of restricting movement and forming a second skeleton.
