Musician and singer Phil Collins may never be able to play various instruments again due to a spinal injury.
The 58-year-old explained an operation to repair a dislocated vertebra in his neck has left him unable to play the piano or hold drumsticks correctly.
Collins whose hits include Air Tonight and Easy Lover commented on having to quit banging out rhythms after 50 years of hitting beats.
"My vertebra has been crushing my spinal cord because of the position I drum in," he said.
However, the Genesis musician noted it is not the end of his career, remarking: "Don't worry, I can still sing."
People with spinal injuries may find lizards could help scientists understand how to treat them.
Investigators at the Clemson University and University of Calgary have been analysing the movements of Gecko tails after they are shed by the reptile.
They believe the flips and lunges it makes could be down to sensory feedback from the environment.
