Rugby legends are to take part in a charity match to raise money for two good causes, including a charity for rugby players paralysed through spinal injuries.
The match is to take place at the Twickenham Stoop on Friday, February 26th, the night before England and Ireland compete at the Six Nations, the Richmond and Twickenham Times reported.
Tickets for the charity match are £10, or half price for concessions, with the proceeds going to the Matt Hampson Trust and Keith Wood's Paralysed Rugby Players' Fund.
Matt Hampson sustained a spinal injury in a rugby training accident and has been paralysed from the neck down ever since.
The Matt Hampson Trust helps to support people with spinal injury and Hampson is patron of the charity SpecialEffect, which enables people with serious disabilities to access entertainment and leisure technology.
In the charity match, former captain Martin Corry will lead the English side, which is to include several other members of the team that won the 2003 rugby World Cup.
Players on the Irish team are to include Shane Byrne, Mick Galwey and Reggie Corrigan.
