A spinal injury charity is set to benefit from a donation from two London-based teachers who recently completed a fundraising initiative in support of the organisation.
Aspire UK will receive the money from Ann Vandenbroucke and Peter Black, of the capital's Tower House School, who recently took part in a swimming challenge, This is Local London has reported.
The website explained that the pair aimed to offer financial support to the spinal injury group and the charitable body Steps by swimming 22 miles at a pool based in the Roehampton area.
The teachers' money raising attempt, which took place over a period of 12 weeks, aimed to match the length of the English Channel.
Meanwhile, a news piece on the Brain and Spine Foundation's website has recently highlighted the fundraising benefits offered by certain charity e-cards, with a large proportion of the amount people spend going towards good causes.
