An arm of South Worcestershire College dedicated to offering lessons to people with acquired brain injury will offer free places to a limited number of students, despite budget cuts.
The Skills Funding Agency has clarified the money available to the Evesham Acquired Brain Injury Education Service, meaning that the college will no longer have to charge for all of the places it offers on courses for brain injury victims, according to the Evesham Journal.
Speaking to the newspaper, unit head of service Angela Stanley explained: "Many students will be expected to contribute towards the cost of the courses they attend.
"However, I can report that there are some students who will be able to attend the centre at no cost next year."
The centre provides a base for specialist learning, featuring a kitchen, conference and training rooms, classrooms and a fully equipped computer room where education and health professionals can work with students.
