Teen 'suffers brain injury in attack'

A 19-year-old man suffered brain injury after being attacked in Inverness, reports say.

The incident is thought to have taken place at some point between 23:30 GMT on Saturday February 5th and 01:20 GMT on Sunday February 6th.

Northern Constabulary are appealing for information and are keen to speak to the driver of a red Peugeot 307 which was who was in the area at the time.

Meanwhile, a businessesman has been fined after one of his employees suffered spinal injury when he fell off a ladder.

Michael Wilson of M Wilson Commercials was fined £4,000 and ordered to pay costs of £2,000 after the employee sustained the spinal injury when he a ladder that he was standing on slipped.

An investigation found that the employee had not received any training on working with ladders and that the equipment should have been check in advance to make sure it was in suitable condition.
