Specialist brain injury support service set for expansion

An organisation that specialises in providing healthcare support to brain injury patients is set for a major expansion in the north of England.

Newcastle-based Neuro Partners plans to open new offices in Middlesbrough and Warrington in a move that will double its workforce to around 300, reports the Northern Echo.

The firm employs brain injury specialists ranging from psychologists and rehabilitation consultants to occupational therapists.

Managing director Jonathan Wade expressed delight at the company's plan to expand in Middlesbrough later this year.

"My colleagues and I established Neuro Partners because we recognised a real need for community support and rehabilitation for people living with neurological conditions," he told the newspaper.

In other news, the Hereford Times has reported that a brain injury charity is encouraging people to wear a hat for a day as part of a new fundraising drive.

Herefordshire Headway is asking local people to don some headwear on May 21st to raise some much-needed funds.
