Online rehab programmes for brain injury patients

HAPPYneuron has launched a set of online cognitive rehabilitation tools for a variety of cognitive disorders including traumatic brain injury.

The brain training and rehabilitation solutions firm said that its new suite of tools, called HAPPYneuron Pro, delivers controlled rehabilitation treatments for impairments caused by neurotrauma, neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative conditions including traumatic brain injury, depression, schizophrenia, mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease, stroke and ADD/ADHD.

"The HAPPYneuron Pro exercises are adapted from the successful game designs that have been validated by millions of HAPPYneuron users worldwide, thereby offering proven engagement for rehab patients," says Laura Fay, chief executive officer at the company.

Clinicians and researchers can customise the treatment programme, monitor patient compliance and performance and supplement in-office rehab with in-home exercises using the professional web-based interface.

A group of professionals with a background in neurology, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, educational sciences and direct patient care conduct HAPPYneuron's brain science research activities.
