Psychological Software Service has updated the website Neuropsychonline.com, which is a useful tool in the treatment of cognitive problems stemming from traumatic brain injury and a host of other problems.
The website is currently being used for rehabilitation treatment by clinicians in 27 countries around the world and over 300 facilities, including four US military bases and five US medical centres for war veterans.
Psychological Software Service began providing software applications for cognitive rehabilitation therapy 25 years ago.
The company started providing online professional cognitive rehabilitation applications in 2001.
One of the programmes still used by many of these facilities is the original PSSCogRehab Cognitive Rehabilitation System, which was developed by Dr Odie Bracy, practicing clinical neuropsychologist and president of Psychological Software Service, and it was first released in 1982.
This month also saw the launch of another website, happy-neuron-pro.com, which delivers managed cognitive therapies for impairments caused by traumatic brain injury and other neurotraumatic, neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative conditions.
