Brain injury memoir a "feel good" book

People who have a loved one affected by a brain injury might be interested in a book that has been described as "feel good".

Jennifer Mosher was involved in a car accident on her way to college. As well as fracturing her toes and neck, she also received severe traumatic brain injury.

After several months in hospital, she returned to her studies, but experienced a number of problems that are common repercussions of head damage.

Ms Mosher suffered memory loss, balance problems, disorientation and a sleep disorder.

Now, she has written down the experience in a memoir called The Smile On My Forehead, which one reader noted made him shed a few tears as it allowed him to relive a little of what the author and her family had been through.

Steve Burlington from Kentucky commented: "I was fascinated by the great description of how her reformatted brain works.

"I think anyone would find the story intriguing, dramatic and quite emotional."

Customers can get ten per cent off the book if they order it before the end of September.
