A brain injury centre will open its doors to the public to allow them to see exactly the sort of work it carries out.
The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit in Evesham will welcome visitors this month to let them see how the centre helps patients with brain injuries and how these injuries affect the body, according to Tewkesbury Admag.
Members of the public, some of whom may be caring for family members with a brain injury, will be able to try out some of the courses that the centre offers to patients to help with their rehabilitation.
They will also get a chance to experience some of the physical effects of suffering a brain injury such as ABI.
Recently, the future of the centre, which is run by South Worcestershire College, was called into doubt after enforced spending cuts at the college.
It had around £500,000 of its adult learning budget cut as a result of national programme to save £200 million implemented by the previous Labour government.
