A centre in Devon that provides support to people with brain injuries is giving its backing to a new campaign targeted at primary school children.
The Woodmill residential centre in Cullompton has provided local schools with a free educational resource pack as part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust's (BIRT) fifth annual Look After Your Head campaign, reports the Mid Devon Star.
It gives children information on how to take care of their heads and is being used to complement a series of activities that aim to drive home the same message.
BIRT is also running a competition for children to design a poster for the Look After Your Head campaign, with the winner set to be awarded a bicycle and helmet for their efforts.
A division of the Disabilities Trust, BIRT is a charitable organisation that provides services to people with physical disability, learning disability and autism, as well as brain injury.
