Brain and Spine Helpline's new year reopening confirmed

Regular users of a major helpline relating to brain and spine conditions have been encouraged to become aware of its Christmas closure.

A news piece on the Brain and Spine Foundation's website has confirmed that starting from today (December 24th), the Brain and Spine Helpline will be unavailable, as the festive season begins.

However, the organisation has pointed out that the service will resume in the new year, with January 4th announced as the date for the line's reopening.

As a result, those who have been affected by spinal injury are advised to ring the NHS Direct service if they have any pressing queries in the coming days.

Although it has been noted that the Brain and Spine Helpline is not able to diagnose any conditions that people may have, the service is prepared to offer neurological information and can clarify any confusion that callers might have experienced in the past regarding related terms.
