Housing adaptations for seriously injured clients

Meeting exact client needs

We work with our seriously injured clients to provide adaptations to their housing to ensure that, wherever possible, they are able to complete the every day tasks that they undertook before becoming injured. If we are contacted early enough post injury, it is possible for us to make these adaptations whilst our client is undergoing treatment in hospital environments.. This ensures that the process of transfer from hospital to home is managed to the exact needs of our client.

Detailed needs asessments

We complete a detailed assessment on behalf of our client to ensure that their every need is catered for. This includes the widening of doorways, the installation of specially designed bathrooms and the repositioning of light switches. The installation of bespoke kitchens with low level worktops and bespoke layouts of key appliances is also undertaken.

New accommodation

There are circumstances in which our client’s current home is not suitable for adaptation due to its type or location. In these cases, we often work with our client and their loved ones to facilitate the purchase of a new home that will meet their needs and allow levels of independence to be regained.
