Wajhid

Wajhid was leaving school when he was crushed against a wall as a result of a lorry leaving the road. He was immediately rushed to the local hospital under sedation where he remained for several months. After several operations it became apparent that part of his leg would need to be amputated below the knee. The damage sustained had caused injuries to the bone and surrounding muscles that could not be rectified.

We were contacted by Wajhid's family and immediately began an investigation to establish all of the accident circumstances. Our detailed assessment included an assessment of the lorry including all service records. We also compiled statements from over 20 witnesses.

We immediately secured a five-figure sum to allow a state of the art prosthetic to be fitted. All of this work was done by our expert legal team on Wajhid’s behalf at no cost to him or his family. The prosthetic was built to meet Wajhid’s exact needs.

Our work ensured that Wajhid could complete his education. He successfully gained several A-levels and went on to university. Here, through our work he was supported financially and could lead an independent life.

Today Wajhid has secured employment in the IT industry, and is a married father of two.
