Richard Lynch

Richard is a solicitor and clinical negligence specialist.

He joined Serious Law in 2014 having worked previously at Slater and Gordon.

Richard pursues compensation for seriously incapacitated clients whose injuries arise from: hospital negligence including birth injury (cerebral palsy) and sub-standard surgery, medical misdiagnosis, cancer misdiagnosis and failure to refer for specialist treatment. His special interest lies in neurological injury (injuries to the brain and spinal cord), a highly complex and evolving area of personal injury law.

Richard's primary focus is on securing maximum compensation, rehabilitation and long-term support so clients can achieve the best possible recovery from adverse medical outcomes.

  • Substandard meniscectomy causing lasting knee damage (lack of informed consent case);
  • Negligent nursing care causing multiple life-threatening Grade 4 pressure sores and related infection in a paraplegic patient;
  • Negligent A&E treatment causing cardiac arrest and a significant worsening of cervical spinal injuries sustained in a road traffic accident.
